Please review these before scheduling an appointment for grooming. 

Cancellation Notices: 

Because we work by appointment we require cancellation of appointments 24 hours before your appointment time. This enables us to fill your appointment time. I understand emergencies happen and while last minute cancellations are a part of life, we expect them to be uncommon. If you have a habit of forgetting appointments, no worries, we can set up reminder calls for you! In some cases pets arriving more than 20 minutes late may need to be rescheduled. No Shows will be noted.  If you miss your appointment, we not only have lost business for the day but also have lost a spot for a customer who could have used it.   If you fail to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment time, there will be a cancellation fee added to your account. During the weekdays (Mon-Thurs), there will be a cancellation fee of $20 per pet added to your next appointment. On weekend appointments (Fri-Sun), there will be a cancellation fee of $25 per pet added to your next appointment due to higher demand. Additionally, if you make an appointment and do not show up for your appointment you will need to prepay for any future appointments including the cancellation fees added to the account. Any and all recurring appointments will be canceled unless called and notified otherwise. Any cancellations must be made by phone call, as email and text message cancellations may not be received in a timely manner.

Appointment Scheduling:

Appointments are scheduled on the half hour. Please allow 3-4 hours for most appointments. If you have a deadline to make please notify us of this at drop-off so we can do our best to accommodate you. If you need to schedule a full day appointment let us know so we can set aside space for your pet to stay comfortable before and after their grooming and allow for potty breaks. 


 You will receive a reminer email and/or text message for your appointment. In order to keep your appointment, you must confirm your appointment either through the automated response system or by giving us a call to confirm your appointment. Failure to do so will result in loss of your appointment slot for the next client on the waiting list. 

Flea & Tick:

We are a flea free facility. Please let us know upfront if your pet has fleas as we will immediately treat for the fleas upon entering the facility. If your pet has fleas, we will automatically use Capstar and flea shampoo at your expense to prevent infestation of our shop. If you do not let us know about your pet having fleas before your appointment, we will contact you the moment we notice fleas on your pet to ask if you use flea prevention and if not, we will offer one at a discounted price. We will require a flea cleaning fee to eliminate fleas from our facility if you do not let us know beforehand. If you know that your pet has fleas before their appointment, you can come in to get Capstar before their appointment. Monthly flea treatment is necessary to prevent fleas for your pet. If you have a flea treatment and your pet is still having fleas, we are not responsible for your flea infestation. Any tick removal will require a small fee.

Early drop off / Late pick up:

If you have something to do, we ask that you inform us that you need to drop off early or pick up late. If your pet needs to stay with us for longer than 6 hours, we will charge a holding fee of $10. We will try to give you our closest approximation for pick up at drop off. If you do not pick up before our closing time at 6:00 PM, unless specified otherwise, there will be a late fee added to your total. ($0.50/min). If we do not hear from you by 6:15, your pet will be kenneled and cared for overnight. A $100 fee will apply per pet. After 24 hours of no contact, your pet will be considered abandoned and state protocol will be followed.

Leashes and Carriers:

For the safety and comfort of the clients of neighboring business, our own clients and my personal sanity, please have your pet on a leash or carrier when entering or exiting the salon. If you forget your leash, pop in and ask for a loaner. The parking lot can get busy and I would be devastated if something happened to your pet. For the safety of pet, employees and customers, maintain retractable leashes at a short and safe distance.

Poor Coat Condition: 
Neglect of the pets coat can be cause for problems after grooming such as clipper rash, or brush irritation My Cute Pawz, LLC Is not responsible for any reactions the pet(s) may have if not exposed to regular grooming. A matting release form will be required if excessive matting occurs. 

Grooming Satisfaction: 

The owners and employees of My Cute Pawz, LLC makes their best effort to interpret the grooming instructions given. All grooming is guaranteed for 72 hours. Anything that is brought to our attention, within reason, will be fixed free of charge. After 72 hours, any work done will be charged an additional groom price.

Proof of an updated rabies vaccination is required by Georgia state law. For all grooming services, we require the proof of an updated rabies vaccination or titres given from the vet. If your veterinarian has opted your pet out of receiving the vaccination due to health issues, please provide a letter by them stating so. Other vaccines that prevent infectious diseases to be spread between pets are strongly recommended but not required at our facility.

Aggressive dogs/cats: 

While we accept all dog breeds, if your dog is known to have aggression issues (if your pet bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures) please let us know ahead of time so we can schedule a convenient time for both of us. Muzzles may be used if necessary. With aggressive dogs, expect a special handling charge to be added to your total. We have the right to turn away any aggressive dogs/cats.


Accidents happen. Every effort will be made to ensure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on. If your pet is injured while in the care of My Cute Pawz, LLC we will notify you immediately. If you insist on coming in before the grooming is complete, we have the right to end the grooming session, even if the groom is not complete and the full grooming price will be charged. In the event that your pet is injured during the grooming process, they will be immediately taken to the nearest available veterinarian for treatment. As the owner of the pet, you will be responsible for all charges incurred.

Females in Heat: 

Female dogs that have not been spayed and are in heat at the time of the appointment will be charged a $12 fee.


We accept credit or debit cards, and cash. We do not accept American Express. Sorry no checks unless we have made prior arrangements. Payments are due at the time of grooming unless prior arrangements have been made.

Photography and video: 

We reserve the right to photograph/video your pet for use in promotional material. You can choose to opt out on the new client form. Photographs of pet’s visits to the salon may be used in web and print publications. If you do not want your pet’s photos use, sign or initial on the policy form. 

Held Harmless: 
My Cute Pawz LLC will be held harmless from damage, loss or claims arising from any know or unknown preexisting condition of my pet(s). The terms: special services or handling shall include but not limited to veterinary emergency services in the event the client is not available. Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for senior pets or pets with health problems, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current one during or after the groom. Client authorizes My Cute Pawz, LLC to act on his or her agent in the event of emergency and agrees to pay all costs incurred.

Right to Refuse Services

My Cute Pawz, LLC has the right to refuse service to anyone who repeatedly brings in neglected pets or is verbally or physically abusive to anyone on the premises. This includes their own pets.
